Our quote for the week:

I find this to be true in everything and especially quilting! As I look back on my journey from beginner to where I am now, I often think about how little I knew when I started quilting! I am thankful for all those who shared knowledge and classes to help us get to where we are today. I am by no means an expert but I enjoy this craft. While I can’t say I’ve attained “excellence,” I certainly do enjoy repeatedly working on my “habit!”
Let’s check on my list – from last week of 8/14 – 8/20:
- Just more of the same – continue piecing those stars! YES!! Five sets of diamonds completed, one more to go! Unfortunately I can’t show you just yet!
- If star sections are completed, I will begin assembling the star blocks. Nope – this will begin this week though!
For the week of 8-21 – 8/27:
- Finish last set of diamonds for stars.
- Begin assembling star blocks.
- If flimsy gets completed, make backing and get it on the frame for quilting!
Here is a recap of our quilty friends’ shares from last week. There were some gorgeous projects linked up! As always if you want to learn more, check last week’s post for the links!
What quilty fun did you all have last week? Please share! We love seeing what everyone is working on.
Thanks for joining me today! Go have a wonderful Monday and a fantastic quilty week! Let’s have fun working on our habits this week! I will be linking up with my favorite linky parties found in the side bar! ⇒ Until next time…
I forgot to link up my published quilt last Monday, (grandson is here for 2.5 weeks yay) so here it is this week! Good luck with your list and those stars!
No quilty fun to share this week, but maybe next Monday! Have a great week.
Great quote, Brenda. I am like you- I enjoy every minute of our “habit”! Looks like you have a full week ahead. I hope you will have a quilt in the frame by the end of the week. Have a great week.
