Welcome everyone, to the TGIFF Linky Party! So, what is TGIFF? That’s easy! Thank Goodness It’s Finished Friday!! And why does it begin on Thursday? Great question! It always begins on Thursday evening because it’s Friday in other parts of the world! At any rate, wherever you are – welcome!!
I’ve been busy working on my New York Beauty Blog Hop project for Island Batik, but that is not my finish for today!! Come back on the 27th for that post, please!
I did, however, manage to get a project completed that has been on my PHD list for the past two years! I am very happy to have this finished! So it really is a TGIFF project! My goal was get a comfort quilt, I made for our guild, quilted and bound. Here is the flimsy.
I won ten of these blocks in our block of the month swap at the guild and thought they would make a perfect comfort quilt. I made two more blocks and added sashing and borders to make it a nice size. Tuesday I got it on Ms. Mattie and had a lot of fun playing with free motion quilting – curls, swirls, hearts and flowers! And here is my finish!!
Now it’s your turn! Link up your fabulous finish with us!
Thanks so much for linking up with TGIFF today. Have a wonderful quilty weekend!
Hi Brenda! What a pretty quilt finish you shared with us today. And hosting TGIFF! I just might need to link up my journal covers that are my only recent finish. Thanks for the linky party. I hope you are enjoying the weekend! {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne
That quilt is so bright and cheerful! Your playful quilting really adds to the fun, too 🙂 Thanks for hosting TGIFF this week!
Pretty colorful quilt, Brenda.
What a beautiful comfort quilt, someone will get a nice quilty hug from it.
Hi Brenda, I love your fun and colorful quilt! How neat that you won 10 awesome blocks and only add to make two more for the top of your super fun quilt. Have a great weekend!
Your quilt is very bright and happy Brenda. Love it.
What a cheerful, bright comfort quilt! I love that you only had to add 2 blocks–a real group hug!!!
