To Stitch or Not to Stitch in 2021?

by | Dec 29, 2020 | 17 comments

Now, what a silly question that is!! Of course, I’ll be stitching…hopefully a LOT of stitching, but I guess that remains to be seen! Welcome to my stop on Carla’s Blog Hop – My Stitching Resolution 2021. I’m sure we’re all hoping it will be a better year and we can maintain our stitching mojo! There have been a few times I lost mine this year.

I actually have a few resolutions for 2021!

  • My primary resolution is to complete my Sunshine Cove embroidered quilt. Here are four of the blocks I have completed thus far. Number 12 and the bonus center were just released and I can’t wait to finish these!
  • Write my pattern and do some secret sewing for my friend Karen who blogs at The Quilt Ramber! She has a signature line of Island Batiks out and will be promoting those gorgeous fabrics with her blog hop this spring.
  • Work on my PHD in 2021 with Quilting Gail! Do you have any projects half done? I have quite a few!!

There are other resolutions, but I’m utilizing the KISS method for now! LOL Please take a few minutes and hop on over to my fellow bloggers’ sites and see what they are stitching up in 2021.

I think most of us have had trouble keeping the sewing mojo going this year. Good luck with your goals.

I think a lot of us, including me, lost that sewing mojo this year. Knowing we should stay inside should have inspired us to sew, but I think it had the opposite effect. I just wanted out! Cross our fingers and toes that 2021 is way better. You embroidery quilt is gorgeous and I love what you did for Joan. You are amazing! Happy New Year!!

The year we all lost our mojo at one time or another. I’m so ready for the new year. OMG, your quilt is gorgeous. It sounds like you have some fun things in store for 2021, but that quilt being finished will certainly be a highlight. Happy New Year!
