This thing is my AccuQuilt Go! Big! I had to order some more fabric for the quilt I’m making to raise money for our Haiti mission. It came last week and after I finished quilting two quilts for a customer, I got out the Go! Big and started cutting HST’s! I only had 196 to cut, so using the Go! Big was a no-brainer! I would still be cutting had I not had that cutter and die!
I guess overall, I spent about an hour and a actually half cutting. I like to starch and iron my fabric, so that took a little longer, maybe another hour? At any rate, this was so much easier and more accurate than cutting by hand – at least for me!
The hubs and I have spent the day rearranging! Instead of taking down Goldilocks (my Ellisimo Gold) he talked me into taking his computer desk, leaving Goldilocks in place and moving Nina (Bernina 830) to his desk! So…without further adieu, meet FeFe!! She has her home now!
I think I’ve owned just about every brand of machine there is and I’ve heard great things about Pfaff, so while at the Sewing and Quilt Expo a couple of weeks ago, I bit the bullet after seeing her perform! Now, just to find time to learn all she can do! I’m taking my manuals on vacation with me next week! Hopefully I can remember what I learn when I get back. I really do learn better by doing, so we shall see!
I hope you all have a great weekend and week. I have a lot to do when I get back, so will keep you posted!
I love using my AccuQuilt GO! for HSTs as it makes it so easy! Congrats on the new sewing/embroidery machine…..how fun!
Thanks, Connie!
