It’s a finish!! My goal for April was to get this quilt completed and quilted and here it is – all quilted and trimmed and binding on! It’s late evening and can’t get outside to get a full picture so that will come later with a little more information about the fabrics.
There are some things I would do differently on the borders next time, but it is done and ready for our church to raffle to raise money for the Haiti mission trip and also youth and children’s camp. I had so much trouble with the tension on my Avante! I spent more time unsewing this quilt than I think I have in the past year and a half I’ve been longarming! But, it’s all good and for a great cause! Now to get the pattern written up and ready for the website! This will be a new experience for me!
I only have three or four more projects in the works (LOL), so until next time…..
