Happy Monday morning everyone!! Welcome to Monday Musings. It’s been a wonderfully coolish week here in the south! Unfortunately the swimmers had a meet on Saturday and had to swim in an outdoor pool in about 60 degree temps in the morning! At last they have their swim parkas. Mama was freezing under the tent! The tennis player had a match, so Daddy took him to that while Mama went with the swimmers. Life’s fun when you have kiddos going in all different directions!! What have you guys been up to this week? I’ll catch you up on the happenings in my studio and then please share what is going on in your world! Thanks for being here! Now, let’s move on to the good stuff!!
Here’s how my story ended for the week of 10/19/26- 10/25/26:
- Cut out and hopefully make the Marigold Mystery blocks. DONE!! These little blocks all measure 4″ finished. They are sew cute! I can’t wait to start putting them all together, but that will be a while yet!
- Maybe start another project? We shall see how the sciatica goes. My brain is full of things I want to do but my old body doesn’t always oblige! DONE!! I got out the finishing kit for Highland Heifers and started looking at it. I can’t wait to actually start stitching this quilt together.
- Whatever cranks my tractor! DONE!! I began downloading all my Sarah Vedeler designs onto an external hard drive (6 TB – I have a LOT and wanted to download the videos too). Also, I began stitching some QOV blocks together that I picked up at the last sew day.
Plans for the week of 10/19- 10/25/26:
- Finish stitching the QOV blocks.
- Hopefully start cutting and stitching the Highland Heifer quilt.
- Maybe stitch some Christmas cards if I have everything I need for that.
- Whatever suits my fancy!!
