Monday Musings 11/18/24

by | Nov 18, 2024 | 9 comments

Happy Monday morning everyone!!! Welcome to Monday Musings! I hope you had a great week. It’s been a busy week here! Chicken Legs was off all week so we did a lot of cleaning and breaking down boxes to take to the recycle center and in general just taking it easy on this staycation! My car went into the shop for repairs from the fender bender on Monday morning and I was SEW pleasantly surprised that they called on Wednesday and said it was ready to pick up! They did a great job and even detailed it! On to the good stuff!!

Here’s how my story ended for the week of 11/11 – 11/17/24:

  • Finish post for Dresden Plate Blog Hop quilt. DONE!! See my post HERE!
  • Work on second ByAnnie’s bag…maybe this week!? Nope! Not yet! Was working on my project for the Gnome for Thanksgiving Blog Hop. Come back Thursday to check it out!
  • Whatever suits my fancy! DONE!! Just some cleaning and stuff that has been neglected around the house.

My plans for the week of 11/18 – 11/24/24:

  • Guild meeting today.
  • Sewing with Friends on Wednesday hopefully.
  • Finish Gnome for Thanksgiving blog hop project and post.
  • Whatever suits my fancy!

Thanks to everyone who linked up!

Your Dresden is so creative… You come up with so many ideas. Good news getting your car back so soon. Of course, if it took longer you’d have a great excuse to hang out in the studio. I’m looking forward to spending some quality quilting time this week.

Happy Monday, Brenda. It sounds like you had a busy week. So wonderful that your DH was off and able to help you on all of the chores. That is pretty impressive that your car was repaired so quickly. I am glad they got it repaired before the holiday. Love that Dresden plate quilt- such a beauty. Enjoy your week , sweet friend. Hugs.

Your quilt is beautiful. I specially like the overlapped stars. That was certainly good news about your car.

Yes, I will also need many refills too, but that’s Monday, right?! Thanks so much for hosting and have a lovely week.
