Greetings my quilting and embroidering friends!! I hope you have all had a good week. I don’t know about where you live, but the heat is really bad here in the south! Yesterday, after picking up my grandkids for my daughter and SIL, I took them to the Y. Two of them swim, Madelyn and one of the twins, Dalton. The other twin, Braden, has asthma and is not into the swim team thing, but he loves to play in the pool (as well as rid the world of “all the bad guys!”) So I sat outside, in the shade, watching him until his dad got there to wait until practice was over. Apparently I overheated and have not felt well since. Hopefully it will pass soon. I am more than ready for cooler weather. Sometimes here in Alabama, unfortunately we only have a few weeks of fall before it gets cold. I hope every year for a lengthy fall season!! And speaking of fall, here is another teaser about my secret project!

I am sew in love with your fabric choices and really curious about what you are planning on making. Of course I’m sure to love it, you have not made anything that I haven’t wanted to display in my home. You are blessed with such talent, and I, for one am really happy that you share it.

Sorry to hear about your heat related problems. Here in So. Maine, our temps in the last few days, have not reached the 70’s, and the nights have struggled to be in the 50’s. I love it, and wish I could share it with you. Try either Gatorade or the new fast hydration drink that Pedi-lite (sp?) has out for adults if you aren’t feeling any better, especially if you have a headache. It sounds like you might have a salt deficiency.
