Well, last week just flew by! You know what they say, time’s fun when you’re having flies…or is that time flies when you’re having fun?!! I’m going with the last one! LOL Time really has been flying at my house this past week…and still is. So much I want to do and so little time! I honestly didn’t realize until last Thursday I didn’t write my update, so I just decided to wait until today. So here goes!
From two weeks ago:
- Start stitching up my Get on Board with Sewing Blog Hop project. ✔ DONE – Come back Thursday the 1st to see my project!
- Continue working on September’s Island Batik Blog Hop project. ✔ DONE The top is complete and laying across the long arm for quilting! You can check this project out on 9/8!
- Write next block of Sit n Sew Sampler and hopefully get block one posted. Please join me for this easy, AccuQuilt friendly sew along! ✔ DONE – partially! The block is written but decided to wait until after the first of September to start the sew along.
- Whatever suits my fancy!! ✔ DONE School has started back and I have at least an hour break in my daily sewing time sitting in car line, but that’s OK. I love being able to see at least two of them every week day. Sometimes their older sister is busy talking with her friends and I don’t get to see her every day. They had a sleep over Friday night and stayed until late Saturday afternoon, so we had a fun albeit tiring time!!
For the week of 8/29 – 9/5:
- Start off the Get on Board with Sewing Blog Hop for National Sewing Month hosted by Melva of Melva Loves Scraps and myself. Be sure to come back on Thursday to see my project!
- Get my project for the Island Batik September Blog Hop quilted and bound.
- Do some cleaning on my studio before starting my next project! Really, it’s a wreck right now! LOL
- Whatever suits my fancy!! Let’s see what happens!
I’ll send out a list for the blog hop Wednesday AM. I hope you will come back and join us!
Oh…and Friday was National Dog Day! How could I not add a pic of my sweet Chloe?! In this photo, one of the boys had been playing with her and her rope and just draped the rope over her head…well, at least strings of the rope! LOL She’s such a good dog and she loves her babies!! She had her a special ice cream treat after they went home!! I’ll link up her pic with Susan at Quilt Fabrication for National Dog Day!

That’s all for today! I’m linking up with Linda at The Texas Quilt Gal for To-Do Tuesday and Joy at Days Filled with Joy for Monday This and That, and probably a few more of my favorite linky parties! Until next time, keep on stitchin’ and grinnin’!!
Just another test.

She looks very sweet and I’m sure she loved her frozen treat!
You got a lot done! And just love Chloe!! Thanks for joining in on Monday This and That! xx
Your doggy Chloe is so sweet! Glad you are able to see your grands frequently. We would love to live closer to our daughter to be able to pick up the Littles. Can’t wait to see your project tomorrow!
Thank you for sharing with us at To Do Tuesday!
