The color for the scrap challenge this month was blue. I don’t have a lot of blue in my stash, but I did have a few to use for my table topper!
This month I’m using Kim Schaefer’s book, Calendar Quilts, as part of this challenge! This one uses three different blues. Completion of all of these table topper/quilts is also on my 2021 PHD list! I think this is such a cheerful little table quilt. It still needs to be quilted and bound, but it will get there!! I will also add a sleeve so I can hang it as well as use it as a topper. Without further ado, here is my April topper.
Except for the blooms having five petals instead of four, this reminds me of our dogwoods in the spring! I love dogwood trees!
I’ll be linking up with Joy at The Joyful Quilter for the 2021 Table Scraps Challenge, using the color blue!! Click on over and see what some of the other bloggers have created with the color blue!!
That’s a great book and a darling table topper, Brenda!! Thanks for joining the Table Scraps Link Party!
Hi again! I love this pattern book by Kim Schaefer. We’ve made a few of the table runners – I’m pretty sure the snowman one that we’ve made three times is from her book. Great topper for April! ~smile~ Roseanne
What a sweet quilt for Spring. It’s perfect.
