Welcome to my day to celebrate Connie Kresin Campbell’s signature collection, Feather & Flair, designed by Jerry Khiev for Island Batik! This is a fabulous collection and the colors are wonderful, not to mention the motifs. Cute peacocks, some diamond dots and other motifs are celebrated in this collection. I hope you have been visiting the other bloggers this week and seeing what they have designed with this collection. Stay tuned for the giveaway info from Connie. But now, I will share my projects with you!
First I will share my catalog quilt with these wonderful fabrics. This is a new pattern I designed for this collection, Tilt-a-Whirl, which can be purchased HERE as a download. Click the photo to be able to see the entire quilt. It is precut friendly. I used a 10″ stack for this quilt.
Next is a table runner I made for this hop. I really love the fabrics I used in this runner. The lighting in this photo isn’t the best, but you can see closeups that better show the fabric below, though I still couldn’t get the colors to show exactly right. I call this table runner Funky Tulip, named for the two blocks I used in this quilt, Funky Monkey and Tulip! She measures approximately 24 x 48″.
I really enjoyed quilting this one using rulers and free motion quilting, when she finally began “speaking” to me! LOL

Both of your projects are beautiful in the Feather and Flair line. I, too, like how you showed the quilts using the dark and light background. Both are fun patterns.
