Last week was not a great week for finishes!! I guess sometimes you need a vacation from your vacation!! LOL At any rate, it started out ok, and I was working on some projects and then we had a day of thunder, so machines were not turned on! It’s summer in Alabama and it seems everyday lately we’ve had rain and/or rain and thunder, so it was not a productive week.
I worked on the Purple Pillow and am almost ready to reveal it and that is my plan for Friday since I will be hosting TGIFF!!
Also, I hope, barring more storms, to have this little jewel quilted and bound by Friday as well! I made this for Carla’s Welcome Fall Blog Hop last September. Since it will be fall before we know it, I really want to hang this one this year!! Fred is expected to roll through Alabama on Tuesday, but thankfully as a tropical storm, but there is another one that, as of now, appears to be taking the same track! I can handle the rain and thunderstorms, as long as we don’t have tornadoes!
I used the Twister Sister’s Itty Bitty Twister and pattern for the wreath on this little quilt.
I hope you will come back on Friday to see my finish(es)!! And link up your own finishes!
Love your fall twister wreath, so pretty! And how exciting that you will be hosting TGIFF! I’ll have to see if I can finish something… xx
Hi Brenda! You are hosting TGIFF?!! I was thinking about writing a post – you may just cinch the deal. It’s about time I got off my lazy arse . . . HAHAHA! I have the Itty Bitty Twister and have wanted to make a quilt for ages. I think I even purchased fabric that’s with the tool. Somewhere. I was wondering how you were doing with the storms. {{Hugs}} Sending good thoughts and prayers your way. Stay safe, my friend. ~smile~ Roseanne
Your fall twister quilt is perfect.
Hi Brenda, Your little quilt is just lovely!! I hope your area stays clear of any bad storms in the coming weeks. Have a great weekend!
