I am very excited to share with you all the wonderful products I received in our July boxes for challenges in the second half of 2025. Island Batik and industry partners are so generous to the ambassadors. Twice a year, we receive boxes of products to use in the monthly challenges. This video/slide show will show you all the great goodies I received in these boxes.
Have a Closer Look!
Hobbs Batting has generously supplied us with five different batts for challenges in the last half of the year. We received the following batts from Hobbs: Heirloom 80/20% bleached cotton, Heirloom Fusible Cotton – queen sized, and Hobbs Poly-Down in a queen size. From the Tuscany Collection, we received a throw sized (60×60) Cotton Wool Blend and a twin-sized Supreme 100% Unbleached Cotton batt. These can be used with any of our projects. I really love the wool batts for adding definition to quilting. The Poly-Down batt is great to quilt with and really adds great definition to the quilting as well.
For our October challenge, Patterns by Annie supplied us with a pattern and the hardware to make a project. I chose the On the Go 2.0 bag. I really like a smaller cross-body purse and this one is great!

Island Batik supplied the fabric needed to make the bag. These are from the Fossil Finesse collection and will be shipping to stores soon!

For the September blog hop challenge, I received a new collection, that will begin shipping to stores soon, called Aurora, an original collection by Studio 180 Design for Island Batik. There are two 2-yard cuts of a light and dark fabric that coordinates with this collection. I love these colors! Aurifil provided four spools of thread to use in this Crazy Quilt Challenge!
I received two precuts from the Island Batik basics line. These fabrics are always available at your favorite LQS or online.
I also received a 2-1/2″ precut of one of the new collections, Everlasting, and two 2-yard cuts of coordinating fabric.
I received three stash builder bundles! I love these. They are 5 inches by width of fabric strips of four different fabrics, per roll, and there are five rolls in each bundle. One of these bundles contains approximately 2.8 yards of fabric.
I received a six-yard cut of a neutral, Almond – one of my favorites, and also 12 half-yard cuts of foundations, basics, blenders, and solids.
And lastly, in the fabric line, I received four-yard cuts of Island Batik solids – black, white, and dark grey. These are available year round at your LQS or online. We get a surprise package in each box to be used for a later blog hop. This line of fabrics will be used for the November blog hop. Stay tuned to see what is inside this package!!
Earlier this year Oliso sent the ambassadors a very cool mini iron and carrying case. We will be decorating the carrying case in our August challenge – so stay tuned!

I wish to thank Island Batik, Hobbs Batting, Aurifil thread, and Patterns by Annie for providing the supplies to be used in our upcoming challenges. Also, thanks to Oliso for providing the iron carrying case in our first boxes, to be used in our August challenge.

Here is a list of the Island Batik ambassadors for 2025. They have shared, or will be sharing, their unboxing videos as well. Check them out!
