I noticed the squirrels gathering nuts for winter. A couple of my friends are missing…if you read this, let me know you’re in a safe place.
Happy Monday morning!!! Welcome to Monday Musings! This is supposed to be another crazy weather week in the south. We may have an inch or more of snow on Tuesday, and what’s even crazier is that south Alabama will likely get a lot more snow than we will! I remember that happening once in 1972…and I lived in Michigan, so we had snow but I was blown away that LA (lower Alabama) had more than we did. We shall see. I hope it waits until after our appointments with our new doctor on Tuesday and we don’t have to reschedule. Now, on to the good stuff!!
Here’s how my story ended for the week of 1/13 – 1/19/25:
- Finish catalog quilts and send them on their merry way to California. DONE!! Well, not completely done due to health reasons, but thankfully IB understood my issues.
- Work on next round of SAHRR. I hope you are joining us! DONE!! In case you missed my center block, here it is. I did add some background pieces to it and strips to get it to the size I needed it to be. You will see it in my post after this one with the first round!
- We shall see what else the week brings. Nothing extra. Still dealing with health issues.
Plans for the week of 1/20 – 1/26/25:
- Work on round two of SAHRR and post.
- MD appointment Tuesday, weather permitting.
- Do unboxing video/slide show for Island Batik.
- Begin working on February Island Batik Challenge.
- Whatever suits my fancy!
