Welcome to the first post for the 2025 Stay At Home Round Robin! If you would like additional information, please see THIS POST.
The prompt for today is to choose your center block. It can be any size you like – even an orphan block (or two!!) I have been waiting for an opportunity to play with the instructions I received from Jackie O’Brian from If These Threads Could Talk. I fell in love with her cube in a cube creations and her one block wonder quilts and she kindly allowed me to use her instructions in making this block! If you are unfamiliar with Jackie’s work, I encourage you to visit her blog. At the moment, my plan this year is to use solids from Island Batik. We receive several half yard cuts of solids in our boxes twice a year. That may change as we go along, but it’s my plan right now! Make yours scrappy or use coordinating fabrics. It’s entirely up to you!

Once you decide on your center block, you are done for this week! Write your post, or snap an instagram pic, and head over to GAIL’s BLOG for the linky party.
Next, visit each of the co-hosts and take a look at their center blocks. Here is the schedule and links to all the co-host blogs!

There will be PRIZES!!
We reached out to several companies that we all LOVE and many of them agreed to sponsor the SAHRR 2025!!! We will keep track of all of the participants that link to our Linky parties each week. We will make a list and use a random number generator to choose the winners for each prize! So, if you link up to 3 Linky parties, you will have 3 opportunities to win! If you don’t have a blog or Instagram account, contact me, or one of the other co-hosts and we will post your SAHRR on our blog. This way you still have an opportunity to win! Here are some of the prizes you could win!
- Island Batik: Three fat quarter bundles
- Hobbs batting: Batting
- A Quiltery: For the Love of Geese: Patterns
- Oliso: Pro Plus Iron
- Fat Quarter Shop: $50 gift certificate and two charm packs
- Devoted Quilter: Two patterns
- Sew Fresh Quilts: Pattern
Now it’s time to head over to Gail’s Blog and link up so you will be eligible for the prizes! Thanks for joining us. I will see you next week!
