Happy Monday morning!!! Welcome to Monday Musings! I hope you have all had a wonderful week. Mine has been pretty laid back for a change! Lots of rain and wanting to sleep through it, but – coffee – then up and at ’em!!! LOL Now, let’s move on to the good stuff!!
Here’s how my story ended for the week of 5/26- 6/1/25:
- Work on Dizzy the Dolphin. DONE!! I’ll be showing Dizzy later this week and then gifting it to a precious little girl at church who comes up on stage while we are rehearsing every Sunday morning and gives hugs! She graduated from kindergarten a couple of weeks ago. Her mom is our children’s pastor and she usually gets there not long after we do for rehearsal.
- Work on some more secret sewing. DONE!! Nothing to show, though!
- Sew Day with friends hopefully! NOPE!! One member’s oven was struck by lightening and had to be home for the repair people, another’s husband is not well, and one lost a son a couple of weeks ago, so we did not meet.
- Whatever cranks my tractor! DONE!! A little bit of cleaning and rearranging and that’s it!
Plans for the week of 5/26 – 6/2/25:
- Sewing Day with friends, maybe? Hopefully most of us will be able to make it this week.
- Put final borders on one secret sewing project.
- Make backing for two quilts.
- Maybe get one of them on the frame?? We will see what the week brings. Tuesday evening the M and D have their first swim meet of the summer and B has a tennis match. I’ll be taking B to tennis if it’s not another rainy week like we’ve had this last week.
- Whatever suits my fancy.
