“Without my morning coffee, I’m just like a dried-up piece of roast goat.” – Johann Sebastian Bach☕💖

Happy Monday morning!!! Welcome to Monday Musings! I hope you have all had a great week. Saturday was National Sew a Jelly Roll Day! Did you participate? I didn’t sew anything Saturday, but I did save a lot of sites that had fun patterns and good sales! One of those was Fat Quarter Shop. There are four free patterns that use jelly rolls on their blog HERE. While you are there check out some of the cute jelly rolls they have. Now, let’s move on to the good stuff!!
Here’s how my story ended for the week of 9/15/25- 9/21/25:
- Get the big RWB quilt on the frame! NOPE!! I did not…again! LOL I got involved in a new project and this just went by the wayside. I’ll keep trying though – not giving up! 😊
- Continue pattern writing. DONE!! It’s going slowly, but it’s going!
- Start a project for Joan’s (Moosestash Quilting) blog hop in October. DONE!! This was the fun project that kept me involved this week!
- Whatever suits my fancy. DONE!! Nothing other than working on my October project and having fun. I did not make it to sew day.
Plans for the week of 9/22- 9/29/25:
- Continue pattern writing.
- Maybe…get that quilt loaded on the frame?!
- Continue with my October blog hop project.
- Whatever cranks my tractor!

No jelly rolls (or sewing) for me on Saturday; I was otherwise occupied with hosting “family lunch”. It was fun! Thanks, and have a great week.
I did sew a jelly roll on Saturday – getting all 42 blocks made out of the jelly roll I was playing with. Now those blocks need to become rows, and then a finished top.
I look forward to seeing your new pattern! Hope you are doing well – enjoy your week!
Meds and a straight jacket for me please…and please tell me I’ll make it back into the sewing room one day!!! Hope you have a wonderful week! xx
