On Mondays, my coffee is like a superhero cape ☕🦸♂️

Happy Monday morning!!! Welcome to Monday Musings! I hope you have all had a great week. Let’s start Monday with a sing along…to the tune of You Are My Sunshine!! I used to sing that to my grands when I was rocking them. Sometimes I wonder if they remember! I guess I should ask them one day. Well, now that I have given you an ear worm…let’s move on to the good stuff!!
Here’s how my story ended for the week of 9/8/25- 9/14/25:
- Write blog post for this month’s Island Batik Threaded Chaos Blog Hop. DONE!! If you missed it you can check out that post HERE. Here’s a photo of Go Crazy!

- Continue working on ByAnnie’s Bag for October IB challenge. DONE!! After spending one “quality” morning with Jackie the Ripper, it is finished!! After tacking down the binding on the back and front inside, I realized I had put the zipper in wrong side out! UGH!!! It was worth the do over, though. I’ll be sharing it with you in October, but here’s a sneak peek of the inside back with three card pockets.

- Continue with writing a pattern. DONE!! Working on it! I got an order for 24 this past week. That’s exciting!
- Maybe…get that quilt loaded on the frame?! NOPE!! I did not…again! LOL Maybe this week!
- Whatever cranks my tractor! DONE!!
Plans for the week of 9/15- 9/21/25:
- Get the big RWB quilt on the frame! Now that I’ve finished the bag, I can move forward with this!
- Continue pattern writing.
- Start a project for Joan’s (Moosestash Quilting) blog hop in October.
- Whatever suits my fancy. Hopefully get to sew day with friends!

Threaded Chaos Blog Hop with Aurifil
Today starts the second week of the Island Batik Threaded Chaos Blog Hop! Check out my post HERE for the schedule this week. Unfortunately, the Island Batik website and blog have not been functioning properly, which means the Threaded Chaos Blog Hop and giveaways will run exclusively on Instagram and Facebook. We know posting 20+ projects on Instagram has its challenges, so the recaps will be shared in two or three parts. We also understand that Instagram doesn’t allow direct blog links and that Rafflecopter isn’t an option this time. Followers will enter by leaving comments on Facebook and Instagram, and each week we’ll randomly select two winners, one from each platform. So be sure and follow Lumin Fabrics on Instagram and Facebook. Be sure to enter for a chance to win one of the two collections given away each week!

Have a wonderful quilty week. Until next time…
