May you find moments that make you smile today…and coffee!!☕🌞

Happy Monday morning!!! Welcome to Monday Musings! I hope you have all had a great week and got a lot of fun sewing projects done! I realized AFTER I posted last week that it was the first day of fall! How can that be?? Crazy, right?! First day of fall in the south doesn’t mean a lot. I will share a video below of just what I mean, then we’ll move on to the good stuff!!
Here’s how my story ended for the week of 9/22/25- 9/28/25:
- Continue pattern writing. DONE!! It is finished and ready to be tested by someone…anyone??!!
- Maybe…get that quilt loaded on the frame?! NOPE!! I was very preoccupied with my pattern this week and really wanting to get it finished…and it is! Now I can move on.
- Continue with my October blog hop project. DONE!! Now to get it quilted.
- Whatever cranks my tractor! DONE!! My tractor was running on pattern writing this past week LOL, but it’s finally done!
Plans for the week of 9/29- 10/5/25:
- Make backing and quilt my October blog hop project.
- THEN – get the big quilt on the frame.
- Whatever suits my fancy. Hopefully I can make Sew Day this Wednesday!

Happy October, Brenda. It is hard to believe it is October already isn’t it? Especially with the warm weather. I cannot wait to see your October Blog Hop project. You always have so many cute projects in the works. Enjoy your week.
LOL how true on the video! It is still in the 80s during the day here and 60s at night. We are supposed to get a “cold” front next week. Can’t wait. Congrats on your pattern finish!
Thanks! So true, Linda!! We’re supposed to have lows in the 50s the next couple of days. Ready for some good porch time! LOL
