I was so happy to find that I won one of Barbara Dieges’ books, “A Thread Runs Through it.” I’m looking forward to reading it! Thank you, Barbara.
I’m going to embarrass myself now (as you saw by the cover pic) and give you another sneak peak at my secret sewing projects. I have completed one and am working on quilting it. I am doing some ruler work and free motion and just for fun decided to try some feathers. Now, I absolutely LOVE feathers, but I’m not very good at stitching them. But, to keep me honest, and working on improving, I am going to show you the first one I did on this table runner. Don’t laugh – it needs a LOT of work. But I have nine more blocks to practice on! YEAH!!!
I can only get better from here, right??!! Please tell me yes!! LOL – And here is the fabric or the next little project I’ll be working on. I love this line of fabric!! And don’t you love that ric-rac? I think it will look great on the project. More to come on this later!
OK, off to work on this runner and practice those feathers! Now – Go … visit blogs …l earn things … register for prizes … and have a great day! I’ll see you back on Thursday with links for the last day of the row along! Until then…
Your feather looks great! I do love that Christmas plaid, and I need to get some soon.
Hi Brenda, Never having done any free motion quilting myself, I think your feather looks great!! Congratulations on winning the book. It is always fun to win.
