I finished quilting the project I’ve been working on. Here is another peek. I hope to be able to share it with you soon! Definitely before the end of the month!

Isn’t that the cutest little bug?? I quilted this using a variegated thread from Superior Threads, and a new ruler we learned in the HQ Ruler of the Month Club in September at ZigZag Sewing Studio. I had so much fun quilting these! I can’t say my feathers have gotten a lot better, but there has been a slight bit of improvement!

I am working on a new pattern for a whimsical Halloween wall hanging or could be a large table runner! Here is a sneak peak of what might be in the corner!! Isn’t he cute?

I was working on writing the instructions while sitting in car line to pick up my grandkids. When Miss M saw it, she went nuts – she LOVES owls!! I think you’ll like it. The fabrics will not be exactly like this, but I’ll be using some of the cute fall/halloween fabrics I’ve collected!!

Our guild, Birmingham Quilters Guild, is sponsoring workshops with national teacher, Karen K. Buckley. Tomorrow I am participating in an applique class she is teaching. It is called Heart to Heart and is machine applique. I don’t do much hand applique. I am really looking forward to learning from a really great teacher!! She does beautiful work!
