This is not a case of the Mondays. It’s a case of the “needs more coffee” ☕🕵️

Here’s how my story ended for the week of 9/28/26- 10/4/26:

• Continue stitching on Nellie and Lucy. DONE!! And this huge block is finished! I really love this with the pieced star background and the barn and trees.

• Sew Day with my Stitchin’ Sisters, then take stockings to coordinator. DONE!! Partially – Sew day didn’t happen this week but we got the stockings delivered to the guild coordinator, our VP of programs. Then we went to lunch…and shopping!!
• If time permits play with a new flying geese unit, Stroked Flying Geese. More about that later in the post. NOPE!! I wasn’t still long enough! LOL
• Work on Marigold Mystery blocks. DONE!! Well partially anyway. I have one set complete and will finish them up this week, hopefully.
• Whatever suits my fancy!! DONE!! I must say I’ve kept the roads hot this week. I’m pretty much a homebody spending time in my studio, but not this week. Tuesday I got my hair done, Wednesday was lunch and stocking delivery, Friday we were out and about shopping, and Saturday we took our kiddos to lunch in celebration of my son-in-love’s birthday, and of course, college football!! So, not much sewing done, but lots of fun!

Plans for the week of 10/5- 10/11/26:

• Make second set of Marigold Mystery blocks, if time permits.
• Sew day on Tuesday this month as the center where we sew will be closed as they go out to listen to different musical renderings this month on Wednesdays.
• Wash clothes and pack for a visit to my brother in NC. My brother in VA is coming to meet us and we will all be together for the first time in way too many years. I’m not looking forward to the seven hour drive, but so looking forward to family time.
• Whatever cranks my tractor!
