Monday Musings 11/10/25

Happy Monday morning!!! Welcome to Monday Musings! I hope you have all had a great week and got a lot of fun sewing projects done! This week we are having two days of winter – Monday and Tuesday – with temps in the 30s and 40s, and then we skip ahead to spring for the next few days! Our weather is schizophrenic in the south. Today Chicken Legs and I celebrate our 48th anniversary! After all these years we don’t get each other gifts, but just enjoy the day together. This year, since I am back on partial kid car duty, we did not go anywhere, but hopefully we can soon. Now let’s move on to the good stuff!!

Here’s how my story ended for the week of 11/3 – 11/9/25:

  • Work on the big quilt will continue. PROGRESS MADE!! All borders, stitch in the ditch and about a third of the inside done!
  • Maybe Sew Day on Wednesday?? I have some appointments this week, so we will see. NOPE!! I was nose down working on the big quilt.
  • Whatever cranks my tractor! After one of our appointments we stopped at my favorite Mexican restaurant and had a great lunch! They make their tortillas and chips there and they are the best IMHO!

Plans for the week of 11/10- 11/16/25:

  • Continue working on the big quilt.
  • Hopefully start my December Virtual Christmas Cookie Exchange project??
  • Whatever suits my fancy.

Thanks to everyone who linked up! If you want to know more about any of these, click through the links in the last Monday Musings post.

Hope you had a wonderful 48th anniversary. We celebrate exactly the same way – being together is the greatest gift, right? Stopping for Mexican food after an appointment sounds so fun – were there margs involved? 😀

Thanks so much, Melisa! We will slip away at some point when GiGi Taxi time has subsided! It was definitely good weather to stay in and quilt this past week, but now we are back in the 70s! Schizophrenic southern weather! LOL Have a great week!
