Monday Musings 12/16/24

by | Dec 16, 2024 | 10 comments

Happy Monday morning!!! Welcome to Monday Musings! If you haven’t done your Christmas stitching…get busy!! You are rapidly running out of time! LOL The meme today should say “working on my quilts” or trying to find ways to avoid doing that! So far, I haven’t had much trouble finding ways to avoid it! I finally began feeling better this week and on Thursday got a little bit of energy back. I think I’m finally on the mend after two weeks! I hope you are all well and happy! Now, on to the good stuff!!

Here’s how my story ended for the week of 12/9 – 12/15/24:

  • Work on T-shirt quilt. DONE!! And delivered!
  • Finish Island Batik December project. Nope!! I did work a little on it but it’s not quite ready!
  • A little cleaning in the studio. Nope!!
  • Whatever suits my fancy! Not much other than quilt a little and rest a lot! Oh and it was Miss M’s Christmas dance recital yesterday afternoon! Here is one of her and me and one of her and Peeps! They have a crazy picture at each recital!

Plans for the week of 12/16 – 12/22/24:

  • Finish Island Batik project.
  • Thursday get together with sewing buddies.
  • Continue to work on writing patterns for upcoming release. If you are interested in testing for me, please let me know!
  • Whatever suits my fancy!

I am so sorry to hear that you have been battling the old “bug” too, but glad to hear that you are starting to feel better. Do take care of yourself and try not to overdo it this week as Christmas will be here in no time. Sounds like a busy week on your agenda. Wishing a great week checking off your list. Hugs.

The colds seem to linger longer… Dave is down with one right now. Not CV… just a virus. I’m glad you are finding more energy. Such a funny meme. 😉 What sort of patterns are you writing? I may be interested in helping you.
