Today’s good mood is sponsored by coffee.

Happy Monday morning!!! Welcome to Monday Musings! It’s been a good week here on the hill. We got to see Miss M as she “discovered” she had received a car for her birthday! We were standing outside by her car and her dad told her there was something for her on the front porch. When she came out the door, what a surprised look on her sweet face. Her response was “When did that get there?” They had it hidden behind the shrubs in their neighbor’s driveway when they drove up from taking her to get her license and us and her MeMaw were waiting for her. We gave her her cards and all went in the house to yack. While we were inside my SIL went next door and drove it over and put a big purple bow on the hood. That moment was priceless! How was your week? On to the good stuff!!
Here’s how my story ended for the week of 2/24 – 3/1/25:
- Work on March IB project. DONE!! I hope to finish it this week and get it quilted and posted.
- Work on paper (less) piecing block above. I have two spokes completed and am really liking it! If you wonder why I said paperless, I use freezer paper!! DONE!! I have all but three spokes completed!
- Give Sally a thorough cleaning. NOPE!! I cleaned a little and gave her a new needle but she needs a thorough cleaning.
- Thirty minutes cleaning the studio and putting away Accuquilt dies! SOMEWHAT!! Not much cleaning but the dies are in their holders and ready to put away. I had dies scattered around from my 4″, 5″, 6″ and 8″ Qubes!!
- Whatever suits my fancy. DONE!! Sew day with friends on Wednesday. The weather was gorgeous in the 70s, so we had a good therapy session! Plus, I got our taxes done on Saturday! Glad that’s out of the way!
Plans for the week of 3/3 – 3/9/25:
- Finish March IB project.
- Finish paper (less) piecing block.
- Clean Sally!
- Put away the dies and sweep the studio.
- Whatever cranks my tractor!!
