Happy Monday morning!!! Welcome to Monday Musings! I hope you have all had a great week. I also hope this finds you all safe and unaffected by the strong storms and tornadoes over the week. Spring weather is always welcome after winter, but can be a bit scary at times. On to the good stuff!!
Here’s how my story ended for the week of 3/31 – 4/6/25:
- Continue working on April IB project. DONE!! It is pieced and on the frame with almost half of it quilted! I’m using a combination of rulers, FMQ, and Pro-Stitcher.
- Hopefully a sew day with friends on Wednesday. That didn’t happen. I crazily sat with my sunroof and windows open on Tuesday for an hour while waiting on Miss M. I really enjoyed the fresh air, though the pollen is really bad and did a number on my eyes and sinuses. Ugh!
- Whatever cranks my tractor! In thinking back over the week, the only other sewing thingy I did was make the backing for my April project. I used some yardage and a lot of stash builder rolls from Island Batik. It is very colorful! LOL
Plans for the week of 4/7 – 4/13/25:
- Finish quilting my April IB Drunkard’s Path project and post.
- Start thinking about the May IB blog hop project which will be something Irish Chain, using die we received from AccuQuilt in our January boxes. I already have so many ideas running through my head and I just need to wrangle one into a project!
- Start cutting out the Opportunity quilt for our church youth fundraiser. Each year I make a quilt to help them earn money for their summer camp/conference.
- Whatever suits my fancy!
