Monday forecast: 100% chance of coffee ☕️🔮

Happy Monday morning!!! Welcome to Monday Musings! I hope you have all had a wonderful week. It’s great to meet up with friends on Mondays and throughout the week, visiting blogs. It’s been a pretty nice week here. I hope yours was too. I’m looking forward to the cooler temps we have coming this week! Now, let’s move on to the good stuff!!
Here’s how my story ended for the week of 8/17- 8/24/25:
- Work on that backing and quilting I keep postponing! DONE!! The backing is made and hopefully I can get it on the frame this week.
- Gather up my scraps and put them in baggies and make room for them somewhere! DONE!! Lots of baggies! LOL But hey, I have some great fabric for a scrappy quilt sometime in the future.
- Work on writing a pattern. DONE!! The writing has commenced!!
- Whatever cranks my tractor! DONE!! I was able to make it to Sew Day with Friends on Wednesday and had a PT eval on Tuesday, so it was a pretty busy week for me! Wednesday was the first time I’d driven since I hurt my knee last month and it went pretty well, thankfully!
Plans for the week of 8/25- 9/1/25:
- Get the big RWB quilt on the frame!
- Begin working on my ByAnnie’s Bag for the October IB challenge.
- Whatever suits my fancy.

Hi Brenda, I hope that you had a good week! You sure were productive last week 🙂 Thanks for the party. I’m looking forward to seeing the results of all that work!
Hi Brenda, Glad to hear you are able to drive again! Sounds like you are also finishing up a number of projects that you want to accomplish this week. Hope you have a great week!
I hope your PT evaluation went well, Brenda. Woo Hoo on finally getting to drive! Have a wonderful week and Happy quilting. Hugs.
Thanks, Melisa! It was good to drive. Have a great week! Hugs!
What good news Brenda to read that you managed to drive. Any progress is good. Thank you for hosting all of us again.
Definitely good for me, Carol. Thanks. Have a great week.
I just love your coffee memes, Brenda! Such a huge difference in what I feel up to before versus after that first cup of coffee. I’m glad your knee is feeling better and I just love that you include “WHATEVER CRANKS MY TRACTOR” on your To Do list! 🙂
I’m glad you love them, Rebecca! Hey, tractors are just a natural when you grow up on a farm…and sometimes they were hard to crank! LOL Have a great week.
Thanks Brenda! Have a wonderful week.
Your meme this morning is exactly ME today. I’m awake way too early, but certainly barely functional.
I’m glad to not be the only one, Sara! Have a great week.
Glad you are finally able to drive – hope that continues to go well!
Thank you, Linda! I hope so too! Have a great week.
