Dear Monday mornings, I think we need some time apart. It’s not me; it’s definitely you; let’s try again another time.
Happy Monday everyone!!! Welcome to Monday Musings! I hope you had a great week. Mine was pretty good and I’m back in business with my Pro-Stitcher Studio download! It’s definitely taken longer than I anticipated, but I am SEW thankful it’s over…at least until I realize I’m missing something else!!! On to the good stuff!
Here’s how my story ended for the week of 8/19 – 8/25/24:
- Clean a little in the studio! DONE!! I have to tell on myself. The only reason this got done was because I needed something I had put in a “safe” place! LOL But I did get a little done!
- Continue on with September IB challenge. DONE!! I am LOVING this challenge!! Two more big blocks finished this week! Here are sneak peeks!
- Whatever suits my fancy! DONE!! I got to go to sew day with friends and showed them how to make a folded star pot holder in preparation for making a folded star table topper! Then we left early and drove to my hometown about 25 minutes away and had a wonderful meal at a new Mexican restaurant there! Definitely worth the drive!
For the week of 8/26- 9/2/24:
- Continue working on September IB challenge. Finish the final big block #4 and put it together. Hopefully get it on the quilt frame.
- Clean/organize a little more maybe.
- Whatever suits my fancy. Hopefully another sew day !

Glad you have your computer stuff straightened out. And you had some sewing therapy for the win! Don’t you hate those ‘safe’ places, so safe sometimes we can’t find them again, haha.
Sounds like you had a great week!!! Hope this one is just as productive – and you don’t have to many more things in *safe* Spaces haha
Your blocks for the IB challenge in September are beautiful Brenda! You have really mastered the stitching!
