Hi Brenda. So many beautiful fabrics. I’m looking forward to seeing the Lonestar. It’s one of my favourite quilts. My first quilt was started at a quilt retreat in Barkerville, BC. It was a spool quilt made of 4” finished spool blocks, made with 13 pieces of fabric. Since the quilt was queen sized you can imagine the number of blocks. (I’ve forgotten).
I made a simple sampler quilt that I still have. I was a newbie that garment sewed previously. 20 years later I’m still going strong. Batiks are my favorites!
My first quilt was a baby quilt for my sister. It was appliqued with a pink flamingo and trees and a pond. I was 12 years old and drew up the pattern myself.
My 1st quilt was a twin-sized quilt. I embroidered 114 four in squares with little pictures taken from coloring books. I also hand quilted it.
My first quilt was a baby quilt for my doll!
My first quilt was a Log Cabin, cut with scissors. (Showing my age!)
These should be fun to see!
Hi Brenda, I will look forward to your new blog hop posts. Thanks for the chance to win some awesome fat quarters.
Brenda, I look forward to seeing what you and the other Ambassadors make. I really appreciate that you will let your readers/followers know when each Ambassador is posting their project or I wouldn’t be able to even find them all, unless I follow them and I do follow a few, but not all of them.
Oops, I thought this was a Batik Ambassador blog hop when I saw the batiks, lol!!! I thought I could edit my comment, but doesn’t appear I can. My bad, lol!
Oh, I cannot wait. I love thee bloghops. My very first quilt was a log cabin for my daughter. Thanks
My first quilt was all hearts, hand stitched.
my first quilt was a swirling lone star king size. the star was 60 inches in middle
