Happy Monday morning everyone. Welcome to Monday Musings – and welcome to JUNE!! I cannot believe another month has come and gone and here it is a new one. Let’s take this new month as a new start with lots of promise…and stitching! I hope you all had a great week and got a lot of fun stitching time in. Now, let’s move on to the good stuff!!
Here’s how my story ended for the week of 5/25/26- 5/31/26:
- Get the sashing and cornerstones quilted and trimmed for Sunshine Cove. DONE!! Everything is stitched and trimmed and I got the first two blocks stitched together! YAY ME! I think I’m going to finish just in time for the quilt show next weekend. Here is the photo of that unit. This will be the last I share of this quilt until after the show.
- Trim the blocks and begin stitching together. DONE!! See above!
- Whatever suits my fancy. DONE!! I finished stitching Miss Daisy, the Highland Heifer during my evenings. So relaxing and fun to see these cows come to life with the addition of the stitching.
Plans for the week of 6/1- 6/7/26:
- Finish stitching together The Village at Sunshine Cove.
- Bind and make a sleeve for Sunshine Cove.
- Make hanging sleeves for the other three quilts for the show.
- Make labels for all four quilts.
- Hopefully start working on Elsie, the next Highland Heifer or the Patriotic 250th Birthday Wool Sampler!
- Whatever suits my fancy!
