Have a brew-tiful Monday! ☕️🌼

Happy Monday morning!!! Welcome to Monday Musings! Oh my gosh, can you believe it is November already?? The year has flown by. I hope you have all had a great week and got a lot of fun sewing projects done! We finally had some very beneficial rain…along with some wind, but our county is still in a severe drought. It’s supposed to be warmer and pleasant this week. I’m looking forward to it. Now let’s move on to the good stuff!!
Here’s how my story ended for the week of 10/27- 11/2/25:
- Continue working on the big quilt. It will take a while! PROGRESS MADE!! I now have all the borders quilted and most of the stitch in the ditch completed for those borders. This week I’ll move on to the inside!
- Get Ms. Mattie serviced IF the tech can do it with the quilt still on the frame, otherwise it will have to wait until I’m finished. I really don’t want to take it off and put it back on at this stage. NOPE!! I got a call from the tech who was out of the country on vacation. Since I got her running OK with the help of Handi Quilter, I set up a date for two weeks from today. Hopefully by then I should have the quilt off the frame. I really didn’t want to roll it on one bar and then re-pin to the leaders when he services it!
- Hopefully start my December Virtual Christmas Cookie Exchange project?? We’ll see! NOPE!! Hopefully soon!
- Whatever suits my fancy. DONE!! Got my teeth cleaned last Monday and now I’m good for six more months…though visiting a dentist never really suits my fancy! LOL
Plans for the week of 11/3- 11/9/25:
- Work on the big quilt will continue.
- Maybe Sew Day on Wednesday?? I have some appointments this week, so we will see.
- Whatever cranks my tractor!

Hope you’re having fun quilting the big quilt Brenda and enjoying your warmer weather. We’ve still not had snow in the valley yet but it’s been raining 5 out of 7 days. Thanks for hosting us again
Have a great week! I hope that you’ll be able to make a lot of progress on that big project.
Good luck finishing the big project! I fear November and December fly by….and it is time to think about that Christmas hop project for me too.
Good luck with Ms Mattie! I sure need to get my Simply Sixteen serviced. The gentleman who services my Janome said he would do it, all I need to do is lug it down to him, but I’m dragging me feet! Hope you have a great week.
Thanks, Linda. I hope yours is good too! I’m so thankful my tech makes housecalls! LOL I’ve taken it off the frame once or twice years ago but I would not want to do that now…it’s HEAVY! LOL
Happy Monday! I hope you have a great week 🙂
I can’t wait to see your big quilt all quilted up! Sounds like it’s a better idea to get it all quilted and done before servicing. Have a great week, Brenda!
Love the idea of Sew Day on Wednesday. I hope Ms. Mattie‘s service goes well. A very happy week to you!
