Sip, sip, hooray for brain juice! ☕️🧠

Happy Monday morning everyone. Welcome to Monday Musings! I am happy to say our weather moderated a little bit this week and was much nicer for me. Unfortunately, I am going to have to go out and look for a stove. Our oven has decided to quit working and I’m not a fan of the microwave/convection oven. So, we’ll be out this week getting a new oven and getting it installed and the old one gone, gone, gone!! If it’s cold where you are…y’all stay warm and toasty and stitch on! Now let’s move on to the good stuff!!
Here’s how my story ended for the week of 2/2/26- 2/8/26:
- Continue working on SAHRR. DONE!! Round four is complete and I’ll be sharing that with you on Wednesday.
- Review videos and instructions for Sunshine Cove Block 12 and start stitching the appliques. DONE!! I have completed the corner appliques and will begin on the side rail fence appliques this week. Aren’t those just the cutest peach trees?! They actually are more like peach bushes as we never had any that looked quite like this growing up! But I like them anyway!

- Sew Day with Friends Wednesday…maybe! NOPE!! The center was closed for some reason.
- Whatever suits my fancy. DONE!! I picked up another hoop and the Big Book of Feet for my B990. Other than that, I had a pretty quiet week.
Plans for the week of 2/8 – 2/15/26:
- Continue working on SAHRR. Time to work on Round Five!
- Get fence rail appliques on the sides of Block 12.
- Sew with friends on Wednesday hopefully.
- Whatever cranks my tractor!
Here is some quilty inspiration shared last week!
Thanks to everyone who linked up! If you want to know more about any of these, click through the links in the last Monday Musings post.
Now it’s your turn to link up projects you’re working on!

We are in the midst of SAHRR 2026!! Check out my post this Wednesday for how I interpreted the fourth prompt! Here is a schedule for when we will post. Be sure to link up your block with the host for this week, beginning on Wednesday, so you will be eligible for prizes. This is so much fun and I just love seeing everyone’s interpretations of the prompts!
There will be one linky party each week. The person hosting for the week will host the party, but each co-host will also provide a link to that blog for you.

Hi Brenda. Your peach bushes are just too cute! Can’t wait to see this week’s SAHRR. I’m not sure if our groundhog saw his shadow but spring is definitely here. I’m getting tired of the rain but won’t complain because a short winter will bring an early wildfire season. Thank you for hosting us on Monday Musings.
It looks like you had a nice quiet week. Must admit I’m amazed at all the coffee memes you find. They bring a smile to my face every week. I hate coffee so I just think tea instead!
Thanks, Bonnie! I love my coffee…and memes! And tea is OK too! LOL Have a great week.
