All you need is love and more coffee ❤️☕🤗

Happy Monday morning everyone. Welcome to Monday Musings! I hope you all had a wonderful week. We had a great week on the coast – not too cool or too hot…and no rain! That was nice for traveling. Now let’s move on to the good stuff!!
Here’s how my story ended for the week of 3/23/26- 3/29/26:
- Continue working on Flossie and the Christmas Barn. DONE!! Since we were gone, I didn’t get a LOT done, but I got the back of the barn stitching completed. I took Flossie with me to the beach, but she stayed in her pouch until we got home. Too much fun and great seafood to stitch! I’ll work on her more this week. I’ll have some photos for you next week.
- Maybe get the appliques cut for Sunshine Cove. PARTIAL?! I have the fusible on the back of the fabrics and they are cut to the size needed for the Scan-n-Cut. I need to restick my mats and then cut.
- Keeping it simple this week as we are going to the Gulf for a couple of days and eat seafood!!!! DONE!! We met up with some friends there and had a great time of food and fellowship!
- Whatever cranks my tractor! DONE!! Not much else, though I did spend some time rearranging my scraps into colorful giant baggies.
Plans for the week of 3/30- 4/5/26:
- Continue working on Flossie and the Christmas Barn.
- Hopefully sew day with friends on Wednesday.
- Restick mats and cut out applique for Sunshine Cove center medallion border and prepare the background fabric and stabilizer for stitching the outer border.
- Cut and stitch March red RSC blocks.
- Whatever suits my fancy.

Happy Monday, Brenda. I am so glad you experienced good weather while traveling to the coast. Of course one has to have seafood when along the Gulf- yum yum! Looks like you have a full week planned. Enjoy your quilting time. Hugs.
Sounds like you had a great time at the seashore! I just love watching the play between the sun and surf; my favorite is walking on the shoreline.
I forgot which state you live in – did you go to the Gulf Shores/Destin/FL Panhandle area? At any rate, fresh seafood sounds wonderful!
Sounds like you had a good time at the coast. And, yum! on the seafood. Looking forward to seeing Flossie when she is done.
