Happy Monday morning everyone. Welcome to Monday Musings. How’s your week been? I hope you have some zip in your doo-dah this week! If not, grab a cuppa joe and have a great day/week. Did you do a lot of stitching last week? Now, let’s move on to the good stuff!!
Here’s how my story ended for the week of 7/19/26- 7/26/26:
- Finish stitching my blocks for Connie’s Feather & Flare Blog Hop and hopefully get it stitched together and maybe on the frame?? DONE!! It is currently on the frame with backing and batting. I’m just waiting for it to speak to me to let me know how I should quilt it!
- Continue working on Ruby and hopefully move on to Heather! DONE!! And here is Miss Ruby. I love the beads on the pansies! Oh, are you going to love Heather too! She’s adorable…but they all are to me!
- Sew Day on Wednesday. We are going to work on hand-stitching some stocking decorations for a guild project our guild does every year. I’ll share pics when I have something to show! DONE!! Stockings were begun but nothing to show yet!
- Maybe work on RSC blocks if I finish the blog hop project? NOPE! My mojo has slipped away on this project, but I hope to get back to it soon.
- Whatever suits my fancy!! DONE!! A little cleaning and tidying in the studio, but that’s about it. Hopefully next week will be a better week.
Plans for the week of 7/27- 8/2/26:
- Continue stitching on Heather.
- Sew Day on Wednesday and hope to continue working on stockings.
- Hopefully my project on the longarm will begin speaking to me. If not, I’ll do an all-over design, get her bound, and call it finished!!
- Whatever cranks my tractor!
