The most dangerous drinking game is seeing how long I can go without coffee on Monday.
Happy Monday everyone!!! Welcome to Monday Musings! I hope you all had a wonderful week. Our daughter posted a pic on facebook of the twins when they were nine months old and of course, I just had to share it with you all. Look at those sweet little faces! Braden is on the left and Dalton on the right. For comparison, here they are now, at almost 13. They looked a little more alike then than they do now. Instead of fingers now Braden puts food in his mouth…all the time – that boy can eat!! Thinking back, he always has enjoyed food. After all, he’s the kid who took the pocketed bib after eating and held it up to his mouth so the food that spilled into the pocket would slide into his mouth!! He was hilarious! Sometimes D can eat a lot too, but B…as I said all the time. I wish I had their metabolism!! Now on to the good stuff!
Here’s how my story ended for the week of 9/9/26 – 9/15/24:
- Guild meeting on Monday! DONE!! It was good to see old friends and meet new members on Monday. I was glad I could make it this month!
- Begin working on my ByAnnie’s October IB challenge! DONE!! All the pieces cut and some of the fusible interfacing added to the small bag. I still need to cut the large bag out but, hey, one thing at a time!
- Sew day with friends on Wednesday since I had to cancel last week. We’ll be making folded star pot holders! Nope! Unfortunately couldn’t make it. Chicken Legs had to take my new to me car back to the dealer to have a key made and the wipers on my other car had quit working so couldn’t drive it as we were expecting rain and I didn’t want to get stuck somwhere.
- Whatever suits my fancy! The only other thing was Saturday brunch with the kiddos at iHop! It was great to get together and enjoy some good breakfast goodies! After that we came home and watched football the rest of the day. I love college football!
For the week of 9/15 – 9/22/24 my plans are:
- Continue making the small bag for the October challenge.
- Either have sew day with friends on Wednesday OR take a short road trip to our only nearby quilt shop that is closing the end of September. I really hate this is happening as the only place we have anywhere near now is JoAnns. Not that I don’t like JoAnns, they just didn’t have the great quilting cottons the quilt shop has.
- Get Jam Session pattern ready for release later this week.
- Whatever suits my fancy!
Here is a recap of our quilty friends’ shares from last week!

Have a great week! The twins are quite the handsome guys, and look like they are lots of fun.
Those boys are adorable, well, as adorable as boys can be. Glad you ticked off a few things on your list and sorry your care ticked you off. Have a fabulous week.

Aaah they are so handsome, Brenda. They grow up way too quickly don’t they? I had to laugh when you told the tale of Mr. B. and his baby bib. How cute!!! He did not want to lose a bite. Bless his heart. Enjoy your day . Hugs and Blessings.
