Monday motivation? Nope, haven’t heard of it. But my coffee mug is pretty inspiring. 🤷☕️
Happy Monday morning everyone!! Welcome to Monday Musings. Unfortunately, in our area, we still haven’t had any rain or heat relief. Fall begins tomorrow, so where is it?? So ready for some cooler weather and hopefully a little rain. What have you guys been up to this week?
It was a fun week for the grands – homecoming week at our high school. Here are a few photos I’ll share with you!

Here’s how my story ended for the week of 9/14/26- 9/20/26:
- Guild meeting today. DONE!! We had a great speaker who did a trunk show of antique quilts she has collected through the years.
- Continue working on Bonnie. DONE!! She is a finish!! Another beauty IMHO!!
- Continue working on Stitcher’s Suitcase. DONE!! She is a finish too! You can read all about her HERE and see the back and inside pockets.
- Cut out Marigold Mystery blocks for September. DONE!! I did not take a photo but will share these blocks next week.
- Whatever suits my fancy!! DONE!! This is homecoming week at our high school. Miss M needed help trimming fabric for a toga for Friday’s dress up day. Unfortunately she did not get to dress up each day this week because she had strep and was out Monday and Tuesday. But she did enjoy the three days she was able to attend.
Plans for the week of 9/21- 9/27/26:
- Make background for the last Highland Heifers block which features a Mama and baby! All the other backgrounds have been a solid piece. I really like this one and will be fun to make.
- Make Marigold Mystery blocks.
- Tuesday is QOV sew day for the guild and we are planning to attend.
- Wednesday may or may not be sew day with friends. It will depend on what time the director has to leave for her MD appointment.
- Whatever cranks my tractor!
