This is a “multiple cups of coffee” kind of Monday. ☕️☕️

Here’s how my story ended for the week of 8/31/26- 9/6/26:

• Begin preparing the appliques for Bonnie, the next Highland Heifer. DONE!! I have them printed and ready to match with fabric, iron on and cut!
• Make the zippers for Stitcher’s Suitcase and start putting the components together. DONE!! I had to make a double pull 40″ zipper, two single pull 20″ ones, and one 13″ single pull. I have finished making the straps and have made one pocket. On to more components!! I really got into making these components and didn’t want to stop to do much else!
• Finish the second Christmas stocking so they will be ready to turn in at our September guild meeting. DONE!! We will turn these in a week from today at our guild meeting.

• Start working on guild newsletter for September meeting. DONE!!
• Whatever suits my fancy!! DONE!! We had a partial sew day on Wednesday. We had been there about an hour when the coordinator came over to tell us she had to close the center at noon for her doctor’s appointment. I’ll be glad when they hire some more people to help her out.

Plans for the week of 9/7- 9/13/26:

• Start stitching on Bonnie!
• Finish top for second stocking.
• Continue working on components for Stitcher’s Suitcase.
• Whatever cranks my tractor!
