Happy Monday morning everyone. Welcome to Monday Musings. Can you believe this is the last Monday of August 2026? My, my, time is certainly flying on by. What have you guys been up to this week? I’ll catch you up on the happenings in my studio and then please share what is going on in your world! Thanks for being here! Now, let’s move on to the good stuff!!
Here’s how my story ended for the week of 8/24/26- 8/30/26:
- Continue stitching on Belle! DONE!! And here she is in all her bovine beauty!!
- Continue working on stockings. DONE!! One is finished and the other in progress. I’ll share them both next week.
- Begin cutting pieces for my Stitcher’s Suitcase for Little Princess. DONE!! All “parts” were cut and I’m in the process of making the different size zippers needed. The main case requires a zipper with a double pull and the rest are single pull zips.
- Sew Day with friends this Wednesday – YAY! DONE!! We had some friends missing still but those of us there enjoyed our therapy session!
- Whatever cranks my tractor! DONE!! It was a pretty quiet week this week, so not a lot more done. Preparing the components of the Stitcher’s Suitcase kept me pretty busy.
Plans for the week of 8/31- 9/6/26:
- Begin preparing the appliques for Bonnie, the next Highland Heifer.
- Make the zippers for Stitcher’s Suitcase and start putting the components together.
- Finish the second Christmas stocking so they will be ready to turn in at our September guild meeting.
- Start working on guild newsletter for September meeting.
- Whatever suits my fancy!!
