Happy Monday morning everyone!! Welcome to Monday Musings. Time is certainly flying on by. So far September has not been any cooler – still hot and humid here. I’m ready for fal1 and hopefully some rain. We were supposed to get some Friday and Saturday but no!! What have you guys been up to this week? I’ll catch you up on the happenings in my studio and then please share what is going on in your world! Thanks for being here! Now, let’s move on to the good stuff!!
Here’s how my story ended for the week of 9/7/26- 9/13/26:
- Start stitching on Bonnie! DONE!! She is about half-finished. I’ll have a photo finish for you next week.
- Finish top for second stocking. DONE!! Here they are and will be turned into the guild today to go to St. Vincent’s/UAB.
- Continue working on components for Stitcher’s Suitcase. DONE!! I’m having so much fun with this. I’m almost finished with all the components and can then start putting it together. Hopefully 🤞🏻 I’ll have a finish for you next week!!
- Whatever cranks my tractor! DONE!! We went out for lunch Monday as our kiddos were in Mobile at a tennis tournament and then we went shopping for shoes and socks for Chicken Legs! He finally agreed to go get new shoes. He’s horrible about buying things for himself!
Plans for the week of 9/14- 9/20/26:
- Guild meeting today.
- Continue working on Bonnie.
- Continue working on Stitcher’s Suitcase.
- Cut out Marigold Mystery blocks for September.
- Whatever suits my fancy!!

Hi Brenda, thanks for sharing the awesome quilts! All of the quilts were great, but I really loved Gretchen’s gorgeous quilt and Daryl’s fun and whimsical quilted pieces. Hope you have a fun and productive week!
