December is such a busy and fun month! And just to keep me motivated and on-track with my stitching, I am linking up this month with Elm Street Quilts One Monthly Goal for December!
Basically I have three goals:
1. Quilt the appliqued owls table runner now turned mantle cloth! It just spoke to me here!!
2. Make new stockings for my grandchildren. Today I drafted a pattern from an old stocking and they are ready to start cutting! They were allowed to chose which design they wanted on their stocking. The designs they chose for their stockings are appliques using chalkboard fabric so they can write their name on their stocking! These designs are from Smart Needle.
3. Finalize the pattern for my entry for QuiltFest 2019 sponsored by our guild. If time permits, I will get this made into a flimsy!! There are 12 blocks completed and this gorgeous fabric I found at my LQS!! I have several ideas in my head. Stay tuned to see what I come up with!!
That’s it for my December goals. Hopefully, I can get them all completed!!
I’ll be linking up with Elm Street Quilts One Monthly Goal, Main Crush Monday, Freemotion by the River Linky Tuesday, The Clever Chameleon, Wait Loss Wednesday, Midweek Makers, Needle and Thread Thursday, Finished or Not Friday, and Can I Get a Whoop Whoop! Click the links in the side bar and join in the fun!!
Until next time…
I’m so glad to see you choose mantle cloth. I think that’s what it wanted to be. Your other projects look like fun! Thanks for linking to Wednesday Wait Loss.
Good luck on your goals. I love the owls as a mantle cloth!
Congrats on some finishes!

The mantel cloth is adorable. What a unique idea. Best wishes for your QuiltFest 2019 flimsy.
