Out of the Dark Blog Hop – My Day!

by | Oct 22, 2025 | 27 comments

Welcome to my day on The Out of the Dark Blog Hop. I was so excited to receive an email from Joan and Carol that they would be coming out of retirement for two blog hops – this one for Joan and Virtual Christmas Cookie Exchange for Carol! I have usually participated in several of their blog hops each year.

I don’t really do dark halloween, but I love fall and making fun items for fall with pumpkins and pretty flowers, etc. So for this blog hop, I drug out my Island Batik scraps and had fun designing and making a cute table runner. Then I had a blast playing with FMQ and rulers to quilt it!

Here is my project for this blog hop! Front and back!!

I don’t have a pattern for this yet, but stay tuned, hopefully soon! I hope you will visit my fellow bloggers today – schedule below. The full schedule can be found on my Monday Musings post HERE:

What lovely projects, Brenda. I am not a fan of halloween images like skeletons and stuff, but your projects are so nice and the quilting is so appropriate also. A great job all around !
