Welcome to Round Five of the Stay at Home Round Robin 2024!! This week’s prompt is provided by Gail of Quilting Gail. The prompt for this week is quilter’s choice using four (4)! You can make four blocks, use four colors, a four-patch – whatever you like! Make your blocks however you choose and link up on Gail’s blog HERE.

I’m continuing to use my Island Batik left overs. I decided to use three of the suggested ideas – four blocks, consisting of four different fabrics, that are four-patch blocks!! I used my AccuQuilt 6-inch Qube to cut the 3-1/2 inch squares for these blocks. Don’t you love these colors. Three of the fabrics are from the new line of Island Batik, Fairy Floss, an original collection by Tammy Silvers of Tamarini’s for Island Batik. The more solid purple is also Island Batik but not from the same line. I have not sewn these to the quilt yet because I will combine them with the Round Six prompt. Come back next Monday for that prompt, which will be given by Kathleen.

Now decide how you will interpret this round and go link up with Gail at Quilting Gail, who is hosting the linky party for this week! Remember you interpret each prompt and it’s placement as YOU see fit! There are no quilting/designing police in this SAHRR!! Some of my blocks will be four inches and some will be other sizes. This last round is six inches (finished), so I have 2″, 4″ and 6″ blocks, plus different sized “filler” strips! It’s all up to you! Make one block or make a row, a border – or four complete borders!!
Visit each of the co-hosts and take a look at their interpretations of this round.
