Sunshine Cove #9

by | Oct 29, 2021 | 4 comments

It’s been a busy month, with lots to do, places to go, and people to see! LOL But we must make time for the quilts!

Today I will share with you the completion of block #9 of Sunshine Cove. This has been quite a journey with three of these 18″ blocks and one center medallion to go!

Since you can’t see the quilting in the center because it’s hidden by the cottage, here is a close up I took prior to stitching the center in place.

Please excuse the picture quality and the stray threads I missed. For some reason, I could not get a really good picture of the background fabric. It looks blue, but it is black – Black Dress Grunge to be exact! I’m not sure why these picture turned out looking deep blue??!

At any rate, block #9 is a wrap!! I’ll be back soon with my Crafter’s Edge project for this month! Until then, keep on stitchin!!

I answer all comments via email. Please spread the love about my blog!

Hi Brenda! Oh, it looks like the rainbow leads directly to the house in block #9. And that quilting!!! It seems like you have to put something white in the photo to make the color appear correctly. I have the same issue getting light blue to look blue instead of white. Go figure. Great job. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. ~smile~ Roseanne
