Here’s an update on my to-do list from last week:

For next week 6/13 – 6/20:

  • Stitch blocks together and add borders for New York Beauty project. DONE!
  • Get it on the frame and begin quilting. DONE! Ready for binding. Sorry can’t show you until the 27th! Here’s a teaser of part of the quilting!
Ruler work and ProStitcher modified block
  • Host Thank Goodness It’s Finished Friday! I’m not sure I’ll have a finish, but I will try! The party starts at 6 PM Thursday so be sure to come link up with me, please! DONE! and I DID have a finish!
Comfort Quilt for Guild finally quilted and bound!! I had fun with free-motion quilting this one!
  • If there’s time, whatever suits my fancy! No time for anything else this week, unfortunately!

Here’s what’s (hopefully) happening this week, 6/21 – 6/28/22:

  • Bind the Island Batik New York Beauty Challenge.
  • Get photos made (in this triple digit heat and humidity) and blog post written! I hope it doesn’t wilt!
  • Start something new – but what? Whatever suits my fancy works!! I have a few projects in mind!

I’ll be linking up with Linda at The Texas Quilt Gal for To-Do Tuesday and Joy at Days Filled with Joy for This and That Monday! I hope you all have a wonderful quilty week!

I answer all comments via email. Please spread the love about my blog!

The New York Beauty is one of my to-do items, can’t wait to see yours done! We have been spared extreme heat lately. Hoping that trend stays for the daughter’s wedding on July 9th!! Have a great week.

Hi Brenda! Those emojis are so cute and quite fitting for the heat. WOW on your quilting. It looks great. I adore the chain of circles – it reminds me of the song, String of Pearls. Good luck with your list and staying cool. {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne

Wow your custom quilt work looks great!!! I’m just not ready to try my hand at doing it on a quilt yet. Not enough hours in the day to practice I guess!
