Update 7/12/21

by | Jul 12, 2021 | 7 comments

For this past week, my goals were to:

  • Stitch down those appliques you see above – √ – DONE! And it was quilted! Sorry no pics! You’ll have to come back for the It’s a Guy Thing Blog Hop to see this project!
  • Bind two little quilts – √ – DONE You can see them in my previous post!
  • Go ahead and work on block 7 of Sunshine Cove – REALLY!! I keep pushing this back, but I have 7 more blocks to make to finish this by the end of the year!! √ – DONE – It’s finally in progress!! I’ve attached a pic of a corner and two sides!

For the remainder of this week…

  • Continue work on Block 7
  • Something else, if I finish Block 7 – or just need a short break!

I hope you all have a great week. Tomorrow is the final Y swim meet for the summer, so we are going to try to go watch the kiddos compete. They’ve done really well this summer. Hopefully we won’t have a pop up thunderstorm and spoil the fun! I’ll be linking up with Chris for To-Do Tuesday!

See you soon!

Yippee, Brenda! I am so happy to see block 7 as a WIP. Now that it’s started, it won’t be long before it’s in the finished pile. Enjoy the swim meet! ~smile~ Roseanne

Good morning Brenda ! Honestly that applique is amazing! Is it a combination of machine embroidery applique or did you do all that satin stitching on your domestic machine??
