Welcome to the first day of the LAST (boohoo) Virtual Christmas Cookie Exchange! Many of us are saddened that the lovely Carol and Joan are retiring their blog hops, but I truly do understand. Sometimes, it’s just time to move on do something different! Dear friends, we will miss you, but I’m glad you will still be sewing and blogging about your projects!
I always enjoy this last blog hop of the year and especially since there could be recipes involved!! First I will share some of my projects for the Virtual Christmas Cookie Exchange from previous years.
Wow, it’s hard to believe I’ve been participating for seven years! Now, for my 2024 project.

This is a project from Shabby Fabrics and I really love it! I’ve had this for a year and this was a great time to jump in and gitter’ done!!
And now for a recipe! Dear Melisa who blogs at Pinker n Punkin Quilting and Stitching, recently shared a recipe for potato chip cookies. So I went on a search for a recipe without butterscotch in it and found this one from The Kitchn that sounds great! I haven’t made them yet, but I will be trying them soon! I think you could add chocolate chips and they would be really good!
Here is the schedule for the remainder of the blog hop. I hope you will visit and leave a sweet comment for them!

Hi Brenda, what a gorgeous table topper! Thanks so much for linking up to Free Motion Mavetricks.
Oooh I love the table topper, such a sweet project! I love anything with a scalloped edge, haha! Merry Christmas! xx
That’s a beautiful table topper! Love the scalloped edge. I just can’t look at that cookie recipe! LOL!
I love your new table topper! I always admire the photos of Shabby Fabrics’ projects, but I’ve never tried one myself. Merry Christmas to you and yours!
I remember some of those projects and I love the new one.
How lovely that you have a whole photo montage! Potato chips in cookies…that’s carb heaven!! I also think it’s so sad that this is the last hop. I found Carol from this very hop in 2017. That’s crazy!!! I really hope someone will step up and do a few of these every now and then. I would love to myself if I didn’t have a crazy job. I wish you a Merry Christmas and hope to see your blog every now and then.
Love your little bakers from the past and the delicious cookie ideas. The tree skirt is really beautiful.
Your table topper is so pretty! I have never seen potato chip cookies. I will have to try those out!
You made a very pretty table topper! Those potato chip cookies look interesting. Thanks for the recipe!
Hi Brenda. I’m sure we are all sad to see Joan and Carol leaving the organizing blog hop routine but I’m sure it’s a big job organizing it all. I love your newest table topper and enjoyed seeing your past projects again. This recipe sounds intriguing so I just might have to try it when I have an hour to spare; maybe next week? 😉
Thanks, Carol! Yes, we will definitely miss them! Let me know if you try those cookies!

Pretty project quilt. Thank you for the recipe also. Happy holidays!
I love your table topper! I get tempted by so many things from Shabby Fabrics! I’ll have to try those cookies because I like a salty-sweet combination.
Lovely quilt projects, and those cookies look yummy. Thanks for sharing!
Your table topper looks great!! It was fun looking at all your past projects for the Christmas blog hop! Potato chip cookies … sounds like a waste of potato chips … but I’m sure they’ll be good!
Love your table topper, it’s beautifully done. The cookies sound good, I’ve heard of them before but have never tried them.
I’ve loved having you be a part of this hop for so many years. We’ve had some amazing inspiration from them, haven’t we. Your table topper is gorgeous! The embroidery is perfect, as always, and the fabrics are beautiful for this. Thank you for the potato chip recipe….yum! Thank you for being a part of the my life, Brenda! xo
