Today I will share with you my block for June for the 2021 monthly Color Challenge! The challenge is hosted by Jen of Patterns by Jen, and the directions to make the block is free for the month of June. You can check that out on her website here!

The color for the month is orange and the food is pumpkin. So many people love pumpkin – pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin pie, pumpkin anything…but I am NOT one of those people! Orange isn’t even one of my favorite colors; however, using it in quilting through the past few years, it has grown on me!! So, while I do not have a recipe for you this month, I do have a pretty block to share! Without further ado, here is the June block for the 2021 Color Challenge.

I am using Moda Grunge basics for my blocks. This is the 12 inch block. Jen shares both a 12 and a 6-inch pattern. So hop over there, get your block made and link up with her at the end of the month to be eligible for those great prizes!! Thanks for stopping by.
Hi Brenda! Oh gosh, I forgot all about the monthly color block. Geez louise! Something else to get finished before the end of the month. HAHA! I love pumpkin and orange but not the coffee keyrap at all. Why anyone wants to drink that stuff, and earlier and earlier each year, is beyond me. Give me a slice of pumpkin pie (with whipped cream, please) any day. Thank you for the reminder – I love your block. It perfectly represents the color and pumpkin. {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne
Your block is lovely and the black hanger is perfect for your June block in orange and gray. Hope you are having a great week.
