Life has been – well…LIFE! Within a 5 week time frame, we had TWO hurricanes come through Alabama. Fortunately, by the time they reached central AL, they had been downgraded to tropical storms. But we were prepared – as best we could be – for them. We usually get tornadoes from the hurricanes and not actually the hurricanes themselves. We did have one tornado warning with Nate. Thankfully it fizzled out a few miles before getting into our immediate area. We have a basement, but our daughter doesn’t, so the grandkids got to “camp out” in the hallway of their home!

My local quilt shop/HandiQuilt dealer is participating in the HQ ruler of the month club. Our challenge was to use the first two and “play!” Here are some pics of my playtime! Please excuse the quality of the pics – my camera was on the fritz.

That’s all for now. Hopefully it won’t be so long before the next post. I’m working on a new pumpkin and also an in-the-hoop watch band. They are SEW cute! Stay tuned!!
