I am beyond excited and honored to have been chosen to be one of the 2022 Island Batik Ambassadors and be able to work along side of so many talented quilters/bloggers. Welcome to my first ever unboxing video where I will share with you all the awesomeness I received in my boxes from Island Batik and their industry partners. Let me tell you, it was like Christmas for me when these boxes arrived!! And I will be receiving another box this month, which I will share with you at that time.
Island Batik Unboxing Video 2022 #1
Below are pictures and details of what came in my box!
Basics – Precious Pink Gradations – There are 20 fabrics in this line and are available in yardage from your favorite quilt store!
Black, White and Grey Solids – 4 yards each!
Foundations bundle includes half yard cuts of each and are always available at your quilt store
Six yards of neutral – Icing
Stash Builder bundles – 5 inches by width of fabric and there are four different fabrics in each roll for a total of 2.8 yards each!
Chantilly Bundle
2 yards of light neutral and dark foundation
Half Yard Cuts of Each
The Chantilly Collection contains 20 different fabrics and will be used in the February Blog Hop. It is designed by Kathy Engle for my good friend Karen Overton, AKA The Quilt Rambler! They are gorgeous and I’m very excited to use them. It’s almost too pretty to cut!
Precuts – 2-1/2 inch strips with 2 yards each of light neutral, Honeydew and a new dark foundation, Bluegrass!
And who doesn’t love a surprise?! This bundle is to be used in the May blog hop and will be revealed later.
LOTS of Batting!!
Four Hobbs queen size batts in 100% cotton, 80/20, Polydown and Wool, and a roll of batting strips
Thread
Three spools of Aurifil 40 wt thread – I love Aurifil thread!

Nice unboxing Brenda! I can tell you are a teacher, very comfy in front of the camera. Those look like such fun fabrics to play with during the year, and yay on the batting and thread too.
