To-Do List 2022 – #3

by | Jan 18, 2022 | 6 comments

It’s here – my To-Do Tuesday post! LOL It’s been a busy week and a little painful. Last Thursday I had an unhappy encounter with a mailbox while on my way to the twins school to pick them up and take them to my daughter, who’s office is at the school my granddaughter attends. My car will go to the shop as soon as they get the parts and have an opening. My wrist/hand are feeling better with just a couple of sore spots today. And, our neighbors in front of our subdivision will get a new mailbox and post. Things can happen so quickly!

So while that happenstance wreaked havoc in the midde of my week, I did get some things accomplished though the first day trying to sew was a little painful. However, I do think the movement helped the soreness. Sewing is such great therapy!!

  • Work on Gradations Island Batik project. √ – Done The quilt is completed – here is a peek of chain piecing the borders!
  • Clean a little more in studio. √ – Done
  • Finish Polar Bear Blog Hop project. – This is started, but still needs a few finishing touches!

For the week of 1/17/22 – 1/25/22:

  • Complete Polar Bear Blog Hop project.
  • Make backing for January Island Batik challenge.
  • Quilt and bind January Island Batik challenge.
  • Cut out February Island Batik challenge and start piecing.
  • Post video the unboxing video regarding the goodies I received from Island Batik and their industry partners – come back the 20th to see that!
  • Round 2 SAHRR.
  • Clean 30 minutes in studio.
  • Avoid mailboxes!!

All this should keep me out of trouble this week! LOL I’m linking up with Linda at The Texas Quilt Gal for To-Do Tuesday!! I hope you all have a great quilty week!

Those mailboxes can sneak up on you out of nowhere, lol! Fortunately the mailbox and car can be repaired or replaced. Glad it wasn’t too serious for you Brenda and that you are on the mend. Can’t wait to see your beautiful batik pink quilt!

Hey, Missy. It’s only Tuesday – stop trying to confuse us when it’s a Tuesday that feels like a Monday!! OH NO. I am so sorry about the mailbox incident. I’m glad you’re okay. The car can be fixed – no biggie – but YOU. That is a big deal. How did you guys do with the weather?? I’ve been thinking of you all weekend. I hope it was a non-event. {{Hugs}} a bunch for you. You’ve earned a whole bunch of them! ~smile~ Roseanne
